Duties: Supervision and participation in the operation and
maintenance of a Wastewater Treatment Facility, inspect plant for proper
operation of equipment and processes; collect samples and perform laboratory
tests, monitor computer, processes and maintain necessary documents, reports,
logs and records. Some weekend work will be required. Competitive pay and

Qualifications: Minimum - Georgia Certified Class II Wastewater License.
A valid Georgia Driver's License and dependable transportation.
Major duties:
•Plans, directs
and manages wastewater treatment plant and lift station operations.
•Plans, directs
and manages wastewater lab activities.
•Tests wastewater
performance evaluation samples as required by EPD and EPA.
•Monitors
operations; adjust procedures and methods to comply with permits, regulations
and department policies and procedures.
•Assists Director
in preparing, allocating and monitoring the annual budget for plant and
laboratory.
•Orders and
maintains laboratory equipment.
•Maintains
inventory of chemicals and supplies necessary for plant operations.
•Performs all
quality assurance testing for both water and wastewater.
•Maintains state
lab certification for wastewater laboratory.
•Serves as a
contact for the state EPD, federal EPA and other regulatory agencies.
•Resolves customer complaints
collects water samples for
laboratory analysis.
•Performs duties of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator as
required.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
